ATR-F Tablet is used to lower the levels of lipids known as cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood when lifestyle changes (eg. low-fat diet) on their own have failed. It also helps to reduce heart disease. It can be taken with a meal or on an empty stomach. You can take it at any time of the day but try to take it at the same time each day. 

Some of the common side effects of this tablet are Nausea, stomach pain, constipation, headache, flatulence (excessive gas), and muscle pain

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not chew, crush or break it. ATR-F Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with ATR-F Tablet.

Pregnancy

ATR-F Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.

Breastfeeding

ATR-F Tablet is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. 

Driving

ATR-F Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

ATR-F Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease.

Liver

ATR-F Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease.

What if you forget to take ATR-F Tablet​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​?

If you miss a dose of ATR-F Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
