What is Acnovate Gel?

Acnovate Gel is used to treat acne vulgaris in people 12 years of age and older. Acne vulgaris is a condition in which the skin has blackheads, white heads and pimples.

How to Use Acnovate Gel

• Always take this Acnovate Gel exactly as your doctor has told you.
• It should be used for a maximum of 12 weeks.
• You may need to use more than one tube of ACNOVATE during each course of treatment.
• Apply a small amount of gel in a thin layer to the whole of the area where you usually get the spots

If you forget to USE Acnovate Gel

• If you forget to use a dose of Acnovate Gel, just use your next scheduled dose at the correct time.
• Do not use a double dose to make up for a forgotten tablet.

If you USE more Acnovate Gel

• Do not use a double dose. If you use more, then contact your doctor or nearest hospital for advice.

If you stop using Acnovate Gel

• Until your doctor advises you to do so, do not stop using Acnovate Gel. Contact your doctor before stopping.

Warning & Precautions of Acnovate Gel?

Talk to your doctor if you:

• Are allergic to Acnovate Gel or to any of its ingredients
• Have other skin problems, including cuts or sunburn
• Have any other skin conditions

What are the side effects of Acnovate Gel?

• Skin peeling
• Erythema (skin redness)
• Itching
• Dry skin
• Burning sensation at the site of application

More Information :

• Keep Acnovate Gel out of the reach of kids.
• Store at room temperature (15-25ºC).
• Do not take Acnovate Gel after the expiry date.
• Avoid getting it in your eyes or mouth. If this happens, rinse with water immediately.
• Use Acnovate Gel in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
