Actoid 25mg Capsule is a retinoid used for the treatment of severe psoriasis in adult patients only. It works by stopping the overgrowth and thickening of skin cells.

How to Use Actoid 25mg Capsule?

  • Normally take Actoid 25mg Capsule exactly as your doctor has told you.
  • Do not crush or chew the capsule.
  • In general, Actoid 25mg Capsule is safe.
  • It may cause diarrhea, gas or an upset stomach.
  • Put it in your mouth but do not swallow it.  
  • Drink plenty of water and use a moisturizer and lip balm, if needed.
  • Do not handle the tablets with wet hands.

If you forget to take Actoid 25mg Capsule

  • Take your Actoid 25mg Capsule at the next scheduled time if you miss a dose and it is close to the next scheduled dose.
  • Do not take a double dose to make up for the one you missed.

If you take more Actoid 25mg Capsule

  • Contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital if you are taking more than the recommended capsule.
  • These effects usually wear off in a few hours.

If you stop taking Actoid 25mg Capsule

  • Until your doctor advises you to do so, do not stop taking this capsule.
