What is Acura Gel?

Acura Gel is a combination of two medicines: Adapalene and Clindamycin, which treats pimples (acne). Adapalene is a form of vitamin A which prevents accumulation of the sebum (skin’s natural oil), unblocks the pores and allows natural exfoliation of the outer layers of skin.

How to Use Acura Gel?

• Normally use Acura Gel exactly as your doctor has told you.
• Apply it as a thin layer onto clean, dry, unbroken skin affected by acne.

If you forget to use Acura Gel

• Use your Acura Gel at the next scheduled time if you miss a dose and it is close to the next scheduled dose.
• Do not use a double dose to make up for the one you missed.

If you use more Acura Gel

• Contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital if you are using more than the recommended gel.
• These effects usually wear off in a few hours.

If you stop using Acura Gel

• Until your doctor advises you to do so, do not stop using this gel.

What are the side effects of Acura Gel?

• Skin peeling
• Erythema (skin redness)
• Itching
• Dry skin
• Burning sensation at the site of application

• Keep Acura Gel out of the reach of kids.
• Store at room temperature away from moisture, heat, and light (15-25°C).
• Do not take this medicine after the expiry date.
• Take Acura Gel in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
• Do not apply to broken, sunburnt or sensitive areas of skin. Inform your doctor if you notice unusual dryness, redness, and peeling of the skin.
