Aldosin Capsule is an alpha adrenergic antagonist that is used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. It helps to relieve symptoms like difficulty in passing urine. However, it does not decrease the size of the prostate.

How to Use Aldosin Capsule?

• Normally take Aldosin Capsule exactly as your doctor has told you.
• Do not handle the tablets with wet hands.

If you forget to take Aldosin Capsule

• Take your Aldosin Capsule at the next scheduled time if you miss a dose and it is close to the next scheduled dose.
• Do not take a double dose to make up for the one you missed.

If you take more Aldosin Capsule

• Contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital if you are taking more than the recommended tablet.
• These effects usually wear off in a few hours.

If you stop taking Aldosin Capsule

• Until your doctor advises you to do so, do not stop taking this medicine.

• Nasal congestion (stuffy nose)
• Nasopharyngitis (inflammation of the throat and nasal passages)
• Orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing)
