Alfugress-D Tablet ER is used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), found in men with an enlarged prostate. It acts as an alpha-blocker by blocking the receptors in the urinary tract and causing the smooth muscles in the region to relax.

Alfugress-D Tablet ER is used for treating,

  • Treatment of Benign prostatic hyperplasia

How to Use Alfugress-D Tablet ER?

  • Normally take Alfugress-D Tablet ER exactly as your doctor has told you.
  • Do not crush or chew the tablet.
  • Take it approximately 30 minutes after the same meal each day.
  • Put it in your mouth but do not swallow it.
  • Do not handle the tablets with wet hands.

If you forget to take Alfugress-D Tablet ER

  • Take your Alfugress-D Tablet ER at the next scheduled time if you miss a dose and it is close to the next scheduled dose.
  • Do not take a double dose to make up for the one you missed.

If you take more Alfugress-D Tablet ER

  • Contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital if you are taking more than the recommended tablet.
  • These effects usually wear off in a few hours.

If you stop taking Alfugress-D Tablet ER

  • Until your doctor advises you to do so, do not stop taking this medicine.

More Information :

  • Keep Alfugress-D Tablet ER out of the reach of kids.
  • Store at room temperature away from moisture, heat, and light (15-25°C).
  • Do not take this medicine after the expiry date.
  • Do not donate blood for 6 months after taking the last dose of Alfugress-D Tablet ER.
  • To lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.
  • Take Alfugress-D Tablet ER in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
