• To make up for a missed dose, do not take a double dose.

How ALKEM COLD Suspension Works

Alkem Cold Suspension is a mix of three drugs that treats common cold symptoms: cetirizine, paracetamol, and phenylephrine. Cetirizine is an antiallergic that works by blocking histamine (a chemical messenger) and alleviating allergy symptoms such as runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic, paracetamol (fever reducer). It prevents the brain from releasing particular chemical signals that cause pain and heat. Phenylephrine is a decongestant that works by narrowing the tiny blood vessels in the nose to relieve congestion and stuffiness.
