Alphagan P Ophthalmic Solution is a combination medicine which contains brimonidine tart rate that used to treatment of open angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 18 years of age.

  • Normally take Alphagan P Ophthalmic Solution exactly as your doctor has told you.
  • Use it at the same time every day to help you remember to take it.
  • This medicine may be used alone or with other eye drops.

If you forget to use Alphagan P Ophthalmic Solution

  • Use your Alphagan P Ophthalmic Solution at the next scheduled time if you miss a dose and it is close to the next scheduled dose.
  • Do not use a double dose to make up for the one you missed.
  • Do not touch the tip of the dropper to any surface, or to your eye, to avoid contaminating the eye drops.

If you use more Alphagan P Ophthalmic Solution

  • Contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital if you are taking more than the recommended solution.
  • These effects usually wear off in a few hours.

If you stop using Alphagan P Ophthalmic Solution

  • Until your doctor advises you to do so, do not stop using this solution.
