AMITOR 10MG contains Amitriptyline, which belongs to the tricyclic antidepressant class of drugs. Tricyclic antidepressants are used to treat depression as well as a number of other disorders, such as obsessive-compulsive disorder and bedwetting. This medication is used to treat adult depression (major depressive episodes), neuropathic pain, chronic tension type headache prophylaxis, and migraine prophylaxis.

Warning & Precautions

Pregnancy

Breastfeeding

  • Pylorus stenosis (narrowing of the gastric outlet) and paralytic ileus are two conditions in which the stomach's outlet is narrowed (blocked intestine)
  • If you have low blood pressure, you can experience side effects such as dizziness when you stand up.
