AMITOR 10MG contains Amitriptyline, which belongs to the tricyclic antidepressant class of drugs. Tricyclic antidepressants are used to treat depression as well as a number of other disorders, such as obsessive-compulsive disorder and bedwetting. This medication is used to treat adult depression (major depressive episodes), neuropathic pain, chronic tension type headache prophylaxis, and migraine prophylaxis.

Direction for Use of AMITOR 10MG

Follow the doctor's instructions when taking this medication. When taking this drug, make sure to follow all of the directions on the bottle. Make sure you're just taking the right amount of medication for the right amount of time. Initial use can exacerbate depressive symptoms, and any change can take up to 20-30 days to manifest. Warning & Precautions

Pregnancy

It's possible that taking Amitor 10mg Tablet while pregnant is dangerous. Animal tests have shown adverse effects on the developing infant, despite the lack of human studies. Before prescribing it to you, the doctor can consider the advantages as well as any possible risks. Please seek medical advice.

Breastfeeding

Taking Amitor 10mg Tablet when breastfeeding is definitely not a good idea. The drug could move into breastmilk and damage the infant, according to limited human data.

If you have or have had a disorder like, tell your doctor.

  • Have a condition that causes you to have a low potassium or magnesium level in your blood, or a high potassium level in your blood?
  • Have a surgery scheduled?
  • If your thyroid gland is overactive or you're taking thyroid medicine,
  • Suicide ideas and a worsening of the depression
  • Have you ever considered injuring or killing yourself?
  • Glaucoma with a narrow angle of vision (loss of vision due to abnormally high pressure in the eye)
  • Epilepsy is characterised by a history of convulsions or fits.
  • Pylorus stenosis (narrowing of the gastric outlet) and paralytic ileus are two conditions in which the stomach's outlet is narrowed (blocked intestine)
  • If you have low blood pressure, you can experience side effects such as dizziness when you stand up.
