Amlogard 2.5mg Tablet is belongs to a class of medicines known as a calcium channel blockers. It is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and prevent angina (heart-related chest pain). It lowers blood pressure and reduces the workload of the heart which helps in preventing heart attacks and strokes.

What are the uses Amlogard 2.5mg Tablet?

Amlogard 2.5mg Tablet is used for treating,

  • Prevention of Angina (heart-related chest pain)

How to Use Amlogard 2.5mg Tablet?

  • Normally take Amlogard 2.5mg Tablet exactly as your doctor has told you.
  • Do not crush or chew the tablet.
  • It may cause diarrhea, gas or an upset stomach.
  • Put it in your mouth but do not swallow it.
  • Do not handle the tablets with wet hands.

If you forget to take Amlogard 2.5mg Tablet

  • Take your Amlogard 2.5mg Tablet at the next scheduled time if you miss a dose and it is close to the next scheduled dose.
  • Do not take a double dose to make up for the one you missed.

If you take more Amlogard 2.5mg Tablet

  • Contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital if you are taking more than the recommended tablet.
  • These effects usually wear off in a few hours.

If you stop taking Amlogard 2.5mg Tablet
