What is Amlovas LS Tablet?

Amlovas LS Tablet is contains two medicines, both of which help to control high blood pressure. It lowers the blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels and making it easier for your heart to pump blood around your body. This will reduce your risk of having a heart attack or a stroke.

What are the uses Amlovas LS Tablet?

Amlovas LS Tablet is used for treating,

  • Hypertension (high blood pressure)

How to Use Amlovas LS Tablet?

  • Normally take Amlovas LS Tablet exactly as your doctor has told you.
  • Do not crush or chew the tablet.
  • Put it in your mouth but do not swallow it.
  • Do not handle the tablets with wet hands.

If you forget to take Amlovas LS Tablet

  • Take your Amlovas LS Tablet at the next scheduled time if you miss a dose and it is close to the next scheduled dose.
  • Do not take a double dose to make up for the one you missed.

If you take more Amlovas LS Tablet

  • Contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital if you are taking more than the recommended tablet.
  • These effects usually wear off in a few hours.

If you stop taking Amlovas LS Tablet

  • Until your doctor advises you to do so, do not stop taking this medicine.

  • Do not take this medicine after the expiry date. It can cause ankle or foot swelling.
  • Amlovas LS Tablet may cause dizziness or sleepiness.
  • Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
  • Take Amlovas LS Tablet in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
  • Raise your legs while you are sitting down and talk to your doctor if it does not go away.
