Amtas-AT Tablet is contains combination of Amlodipine and Atenolol. It helps to lower high blood pressure and thus reduces the chances of future heart attack and stroke.

What are the uses of Amtas-AT Tablet?

Amtas-AT Tablet is used for treating,

  • Hypertension (high blood pressure)

How to Use Amtas-AT Tablet

  • Always take this Amtas-AT Tablet exactly as your doctor has told you.
  • Never crush or chew this medicine.  
  • Amtas-AT Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.

If you forget to take Amtas-AT Tablet

  • If you forget to take a dose of Amtas-AT Tablet, just take your next scheduled dose at the correct time.
  • Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten tablet.

If you take more Amtas-AT Tablet

  • Do not take a double dose. If you take more, then contact your doctor or nearest hospital for advice.

If you stop taking Amtas-AT Tablet

  • Until your doctor advises you to do so, do not stop taking Amtas-AT Tablet. Contact your doctor before stopping.

Warning & Precautions of Amtas-AT Tablet?

Talk to your doctor if you:

  • Are allergic to Amtas-AT Tablet or to any of its ingredients
  • Have liver problems
  • Have kidney or heart problems
  • During breastfeeding
  • Are alcoholic

  • Sleepiness
  • Edema (swelling)
  • Constipation
  • Tiredness

  • Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk)

  • Keep Amtas-AT Tablet out of the reach of kids.
  • Store at room temperature (15-25ºC).
  • Do not take Amtas-AT Tablet after the expiry date.
  • It may cause dizziness. Get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position.
  • Take Amtas-AT Tablet in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
