Amtas HT Tablet

Amtas HT Tablet is used in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). and also helps to reduce the risk of stroke and heart attack. It should be used along with a proper diet, salt restriction, and regular exercise for best results. It should be taken with or without food, to avoid frequent urination at night.

Some of the common side effects of this tablet are Nausea, Sleepiness, etc.

Side Effects of Amtas HT Tablet

• Glucose intolerance

• Sleepiness

• Ankle swelling

• Headache

• Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk)

• Tiredness

• Palpitations

• Nausea

• Increased blood uric acid

• Decreased potassium level in blood

• Altered blood lipid level

How to use Amtas HT Tablet​​​​​​​?

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Amtas HT Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Alcohol

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Amtas HT Tablet.

Pregnancy

Amtas HT Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. 

Breastfeeding

Amtas HT Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding.

Driving

Amtas HT Tablet may cause side effects that could affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

Amtas HT Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease.

Liver

Amtas HT Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. 

What if you forget to take Amtas HT Tablet​​​​​​​?

If you miss a dose of Amtas HT Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
