How Ancef O 200mg Tablet Works

Ancef O 200 MG Tablet is a cephalosporin of the third generation. By binding to penicillin-binding proteins and inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, it acts as a bactericidal. As a result, cell wall biosynthesis is inhibited by the final Transpeptidation step of peptidoglycan synthesis in bacterial cell walls.
