  • After taking this drug, you have watery diarrhoea and a fever.
  • You've got black stools.
  • You have a tumour in your stomach.
  • You have a history of fractures, osteoporosis, or are on steroid therapy.
  • You've got liver and renal disease, or you've got kidney failure.
  • You have cardiac problems and symptoms such as palpitations, breathing difficulties, and unconsciousness.
  • This drug has been in your system for more than three months. It's possible that your magnesium levels in your blood will drop. Regular testing for the same may be ordered by your doctor.
  • After using this medicine, you get skin lesions, especially in areas that are exposed to the sun.
  • You're on antiretroviral therapy.
