Aritel 40mg Tablet

Direction for Use

Follow your doctor's instructions about the dosage and length of this medication. Take it all in at once. It should not be chewed, crushed, or broken. Aritel 40mg Tablet can be taken with or without food, but it's best if you take it at the same time every day.

Warning & Precautions

Pregnancy

• If you are pregnant or intending to become pregnant, avoid taking this medication.
• This drug has the potential to hurt your baby severely.
• If you're on this drug and thinking about getting pregnant, let your doctor know so that your prescription can be changed.

Breast Feeding

Aritel 40mg Tablet is likely to be safe to take when breast-feeding. Based on limited human evidence, the drug appears to pose no serious risk to the infant.

If you have any concerns, talk to your doctor.

• You have kidney failure or a transplanted kidney, or you have liver disease. One or both of your kidneys' blood vessels are believed to be narrowed or blocked.
• You experience diarrhoea and vomiting; dehydration can cause low blood pressure; drink plenty of water and fluids.
• If you have a heart disorder
• You have a low blood pressure issue (hypotension)
• You have a water and salt retention problem in your body, as well as a mineral deficiency in your blood (raised aldosterone levels)
• Potassium levels in your blood are abnormally high.
• You've been diagnosed with diabetes.
• You're taking ACE inhibitors such as Ramipril and Lisinopril.

How Does It Work?

Angiotensin II is a hormone released by the body that allows blood vessels to narrow. Blood pressure rises as a result of this. Aritel 40mg Tab works by preventing Angiotensin II from binding to its receptors, causing blood vessels to relax and blood pressure to drop.
