Arvast 5 Tablet is a group of medicines called statins. It is used to lower cholesterol and to reduce the risk of heart disease. Cholesterol is a fatty substance that builds up in your blood vessels and causes narrowing, which may lead to a heart attack or stroke.

What are the uses Arvast 5 Tablet?

Arvast 5 Tablet is used for treating,

How to Use Arvast 5 Tablet?

  • Normally take Arvast 5 Tablet exactly as your doctor has told you.
  • Do not crush or chew the tablet.
  • It may cause diarrhea, gas or an upset stomach.
  • Put it in your mouth but do not swallow it.
  • Do not handle the tablets with wet hands.

If you forget to take Arvast 5 Tablet

  • Take your Arvast 5 Tablet at the next scheduled time if you miss a dose and it is close to the next scheduled dose.
  • Do not take a double dose to make up for the one you missed.

If you take more Arvast 5 Tablet

  • Contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital if you are taking more than the recommended tablet.
  • These effects usually wear off in a few hours.

If you stop taking Arvast 5 Tablet

  • Until your doctor advises you to do so, do not stop taking this medicine.

  • Inform your doctor if you experience fatigue, muscle weakness or muscle pain.
  • Store at room temperature away from moisture, heat, and light (15-25°C).
  • Do not take this medicine after the expiry date.  
  • It may cause diarrhea, gas or an upset stomach. If any of these happen to you, take it with food.
  • Take Arvast 5 Tablet in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
