Astin 40 Tablet

Astin 40 Tablet is used to lower cholesterol and to reduce the risk of heart disease. Cholesterol is a fatty substance that builds up in your blood vessels and causes narrowing, which may lead to a heart attack or stroke. Astin 40 Tablet is taken as per the doctor's advice. It can be taken with food or without food. It is important to have your cholesterol levels checked regularly. 

Some of the common side effects of this tablet are constipation, flatulence, dyspepsia, and abdominal pain.

How to use Astin 40 Tablet?

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Astin 40 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Caution is advised when consuming alcohol with Astin 40 Tablet.

Pregnancy

Astin 40 Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.

Breastfeeding

Astin 40 Tablet is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. 

Driving

Astin 40 Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

Astin 40 Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease.

Liver

Astin 40 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. 

What if you forget to take Astin 40  Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Astin 40 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not take two doses within 12 hours.
