Atecard D Tablet

Atecard D Tablet is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It also helps to reduce the chances of any future heart attack and stroke. It can be taken with or without food, preferably in the morning to avoid frequent urination at night. Keep taking it for as long as advised by your doctor. 

Some of the common side effects of this tablet are Nausea, headache, and fatigue

Side Effects of Atecard D Tablet

• Nausea

• Cold extremities

• Increased blood uric acid

• Decreased potassium level in blood

• Glucose intolerance

• Slow heart rate

• The decreased sodium level in blood

• Decreased magnesium level in blood

• Increased calcium level in blood

• Increased blood lipid level

How to use Atecard D Tablet​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​?

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not chew, crush or break it. Atecard D Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Safety Advice

Alcohol

Atecard D Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.

Pregnancy

Atecard D Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.

Breastfeeding

Atecard D Tablet is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. 

Driving

Atecard D Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy.

Kidney

Atecard D Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease.

Liver

Atecard D Tablets should be used with caution in patients with liver disease.

What if you forget to take Atecard D Tablet​​​​​​​​​​​​​​?

If you miss a dose of Atecard D Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
