What is Atorlip 10 Tablet?

 The Atorlip 10 MG Tablet is used to decrease blood levels of poor cholesterol and triglycerides. A shift in diet and daily exercise is recommended along with taking this medicine.  

What are the uses of Atorlip 10 Tablet?

Atorlip 10 Tablet is used for treating,

  • High cholesterol
  • Prevention of Heart attack

How to Use Atorlip 10 Tablet

  • Always take this Atorlip 10 Tablet exactly as your doctor has told you.
  • Swallow the tablet with a glass of water.
  • Never crush or chew this medicine.
  • The maximum dose is 80 mg once daily for adults and 20 mg once daily for children

If you forget to take Atorlip 10 Tablet

  • If you forget to take a dose of Atorlip 10 Tablet, just take your next scheduled dose at the correct time.
  • Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten tablet.

If you take more Atorlip 10 Tablet

  • Do not take a double dose. If you take more, then contact your doctor or nearest hospital for advice.
  • Overdosing with Atorlip 10 Tablet may cause serious life-threatening conditions.

If you stop taking Atorlip 10 Tablet

  • Until your doctor advises you to do so, do not stop taking Atorlip 10 Tablet. Contact your doctor before stopping.

Warning & Precautions of Atorlip 10 Tablet?

Talk to your doctor if you:

  • Have hypothyroidism
  • Regularly drink a large amount of alcohol
  • Are older than 70 years
  • Are allergic to Atorvastatin
  • Have liver/kidney problems
  • Have any unexplained abnormal blood tests for liver function
  • Are a woman able to have children and not using reliable contraception
  • Have severe respiratory failure

What are the side effects of Atorlip 10 Tablet?

  • Constipation
  • Flatulence
  • Dyspepsia
  • Abdominal pain

More Information :

  • Keep Atorlip 10 Tablet out of the reach of kids.
  • Store at room temperature (15-25ºC).
  • Do not take Atorlip 10 Tablet after the expiry date.
  • If you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding, do not take the Atorlip 10 Tablet.
  • Take Atorlip 10 Tablet in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
