Avas 5 Tablet

Avas 5 Tablet used to lower cholesterol and to reduce the risk of heart disease.  Avas 5 Tablet is a widely prescribed medicine and is regarded as safe for long-term use when taken as per the doctor's advice. It can be taken with a meal or on an empty stomach. You can take it at any time of the day but try to take it at the same time each day. 
It is important to have your cholesterol levels checked regularly.

Some of the common side effects of this tablet are constipation, flatulence, dyspepsia, and abdominal pain.

Pregnancy

Avas 5 Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.

Breastfeeding

Avas 5 Tablet is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. 

Driving

Avas 5 Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

Avas 5 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease.

Liver

Avas 5 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease.

What if you forget to take Avas 5 Tablet​​​​​​​​​​​​​​?

If you miss a dose of Avas 5 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not take two doses within 12 hours.
