Azifast 500 Tablet is used for treating,

  • Bacterial infections

How to Use Azifast 500 Tablet

  • Always take this Azifast 500 Tablet exactly as your doctor has told you.
  • Adults and children with a body weight of 45 kg and above
  • The recommended dose is 500 mg (2 dose) taken together, once a day, for 3 days.
  • Never crush or chew this medicine.

If you forget to take Azifast 500 Tablet

  • If you forget to take a dose of Azifast 500 Tablet, just take your next scheduled dose at the correct time.
  • Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten tablet.

If you take more Azifast 500 Tablet

  • Do not take a double dose. If you take more, then contact your doctor or nearest hospital for advice.

If you stop taking Azifast 500 Tablet

  • Until your doctor advises you to do so, do not stop taking Azifast 500 Tablet. Contact your doctor before stopping.

Warning & Precautions of Azifast 500 Tablet?

Talk to your doctor if you:

  • Are allergic to Azifast 500 Tablet or to any of its ingredients
  • Have liver problems
  • Have kidney or heart problems
  • Have low potassium or magnesium levels
  • Have myasthenia gravis
  • During pregnancy

More Information :

  • Keep Azifast 500 Tablet out of the reach of kids.
  • Store at room temperature (15-25ºC).
  • Do not take Azifast 500 Tablet after the expiry date. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Take it 1 hour before or two hours after food.
  • Take Azifast 500 Tablet in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
