Directions & For Use

  • Always take this medication exactly as you have been told by your doctor,
  • The recommended starting dose of Atorvastatin for adults and children 10 years of age or older is 10 mg once a day.
  • The maximum dose for adults is 80 mg once a day, and for infants, 20 mg once a day.
  • It should be consumed whole with a drink of water, and can be taken with or without food at any time of day.

Warning & Precautions

  • A woman who is willing to have children and who does not use reliable contraception
  • Either had a recent stroke, or have small pockets of fluid in the brain from previous strokes of bleeding into the brain
