Zuvicella Vaccine is indicated for active immunization for prevention of chickenpox in individuals 12 months of age and older. It is generally given as an injection under the skin or into the muscle of the upper arm in two doses.

  • Normally use Zuvicella Vaccine exactly as your doctor has told you.

If you use more Zuvicella Vaccine

  • Contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital if you are using more than the recommended Injection.
  • These effects usually wear off in a few hours.

If you stop using Zuvicella Vaccine

  • Until your doctor advises you to do so, do not stop using this Injection.

If you forget to use Zuvicella Vaccine

  • Use your Zuvicella Vaccine at the next scheduled time if you miss a dose and it is close to the next scheduled dose.
  • Do not use a double dose to make up for the one you missed.
