Amset XT 5 mg/50 mg Tablet

Amset XT 5 mg/50 mg Tablet is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and it may be taken a day, on empty stomach, but it is best to take it at the same time each day. Keep taking it for as long as advised by your doctor. 

It may cause side effects like headache, ankle swelling, slow heart rate, and nausea.

• Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk)

HOW TO USE AMSET XT TABLET

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Amset XT 5 mg/50 mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.

Alcohol

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Amset XT 5 mg/50 mg Tablet.

Pregnancy

Breastfeeding

Amset XT 5 mg/50 mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding.

Driving

Amset XT 5 mg/50 mg Tablet may cause side effects that could affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

Amset XT 5 mg/50 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. 

Liver

Amset XT 5 mg/50 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease.

WHAT IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE AMSET XT TABLET?

If you miss a dose of Amset XT 5 mg/50 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
